Olympic GOLD for MY GIRLS!

I told people before the Olympics that I didn't care what happened in Beijing, except that Misty May and Keri Walsh had to win the gold. I just watched the gold medal match, a close one, between this most champion American volleyball team and the Chinese team who was actually seeded ahead of them in first place. Wahoo! the Americans won 21 to 17 first game and then 21 to 18 the second. I love these girls AND their immodest bikinis. I guess when you have a bottom like Keri Walsh (that doesn't flap in the breeze) you might wear a bikini on the beach too. I'm their biggest fan in Ashton . And then later as I stayed up to watch more volleyball (indoors), I saw the USA women's team defeat Cuba, who had defeated them last week. So now USA plays again for gold against Brazil . Go USA volleyball!

Am I the only one who noticed this? When I saw the picture that Jenny put on her blog awhile ago and then Sara posted it again just yesterday, I thought that Tenny has not changed her happy excited smiling face and hands at all since she was little. Such a happy face. How cute is Tenny?

From the left,

and from the right.

The only thing she changed is the color of her fingernail polish.

What is with the sexism that goes on even at the Olympics. Olympic Porn, that is what I call it! Girls bodies all over the place. I do love these two girls, and I did watch all of the matches that they played. But can someone please stand up and say I want a modest swimming suit!!

I was very happy to hear of their win. Didn't they win the gold four years ago? Amazing that they can keep at the top of their form so many years in a row. Tenny's smile with hand is quite memorable. Such fun pictures to look at. I enjoy seeing her so happy.

Were you there too when we all noticed that? I think that is such a cute picture of her, well both of them are! I also watched the girls and their gold medal match. I was a little stressed, I kept having these fleeting feelings like they were going to lose a set, but for the most part I just loved watching them play. They are truly my heroes, as far as volleyball goes!

I wish we could come up this Labor Day weekend. Josh has to work Sat. and Tues. So, it is not possible. Maybe UEA!
