Alan Finally Says ENOUGH!!
Well, you've seen the pictures and it's all real. 3 feet and 10 inches is enough snow. Take out a measuring stick and see where that is on your body. We have been completely overwhelmed with the snowfall this month. Now it is getting scarey. Everyone is looking for someone to blow out their driveway or shovel off their roofs. Alan has had calls to please come and blow out a driveway so they can make a dentist appointment or get to a funeral (And that's another thing, we keep having funerals too!) About three days ago, Alan said he had enough snow. I've never heard those words come out of his mouth. Our friend had one of his cellars collapse with 20,000 sacks of potatoes inside. Our former bishop's machine shed fell in with all of his mchinery inside. Alan, Zack and Kent with others have been shoveling off all our buildings and they come inside exhausted after four or five hours. And its been snowing again today. So, what worries me also is that if it stays cold, 13 degrees today, this snow will not melt until May. If it warms up too fast, we will have flooding and ponding in our fields that will be hard to deal with. Really, we're not murmuring, just hoping that the snow will soon stop blessing our lives so much.

I know we don't have anywhere near what you have up there but it is crazy even here. It snows about every other day. I am grateful for it but Spring seems so far away. I was thinking that we might have some flooding issues here in the Spring. They said on the news that one the the ski resorts has like 11 or 12 feet of snow. That seems like a lot to me. Well, come south anytime you want and enjoy just inches instead of feet of snow. I guess Zack has been doing your music.
Who was it that had his cellar collapse on his potatoes? Just wondering. You can still come down here when Andrew comes back from Ideeho. Thanks for the checks all is well with Kinderbeets. She can stay! Whew! I can't tell if sara is trying to be sarcastic about zack doing your music or what because I would. Well... I'm really excited for you guys to come down. I'm affraid you will hardly recognize Leah when you see her. She is getting so big.. well you know big for her.. I mean. Andrew's birthday was eventful you'll have to read my blog to find out how eventful. It is really snowing outside as I type. We have one more day of UBSCT. It makes the week go by really fast which I like. The snow does just keep coming... What's up with that? I will talk to you soon!
Love,
Morgan
Wow! I kept hearing how much snow is up there, but pictures help to really understand! :) I am doing okay, but a little bruised. My ribs are just fine, and my back is a little stiff. But my head is what hurts most--and my hand that helped my head from hitting worse. It was definately a scary experience and I am really scared to drive anywhere right now. All I know is that it wasn't my time to go, and my seatbelt and the safety rack were what kept my from serious harm. I feel really lucky! The guys who saw the whole thing and stopped to help said that they noticed (before I wrecked) that my tires were bald, low, and the belts on one of the tires were starting to come off. So when I hit that ice, there was nothing I could do. I didn't panic (too much) and I didn't overcorrect. I really did try to stay calm, but I don't think I had a chance either way. But I am happy to be here, however I still must go on with school and work. I took Thursday off both, but went right back into it Friday and I think that was too much cause I got home from work and just had a really bad night. So I took Saturday off work, and I am not scheduled to work until Thursday :). I have to make up an exam I missed on Monday though I haven't been able to concentrate enough to study for it. Oh well. Anyway, thanks for your concern. I would like to come an visit, but I don't get too many Saturdays off (like none) and I am a little nervous about the roads right now (as you can imagine). :) But hopefully we can make it up there sometime in the next month or two.
Love, Jamie
