Washington DC Day 3

These are out of order and not much commentary because I'm tired from a big day at the Capital visiting legislators then night tour of city. So here are some of the highlights...

At the Wall of the Vietnam Memorial

In front of the White House

Yes, that's our Senator on the left

Taken from back lawn of Capital

Jefferson Memorial

Great pictures. I really like seeing the monuments at night how they are all lit up. And I guess now your week is complete because you have a picture of Larry Craig. Was it awkward? Well anyway it sure looks like you are creating a lot of memories in DC.

how do you get all of these buildings straight and all of the sites? I'm sure it's easier since you know where you have been and they all look slightly different. I really like them all lit up. This whole experience for you is really making me want to watch National Treasure 1 and 2. It looks like it is always croweded no matter where you are. By the way.. I"m pretty sure that this is the first time that you have left me behind on one of your vacations. Oh well I guess you saw OUR little outing. NOt much different from your common county fair but it was really good to get outside! Keep up the posting I guess you have about two days left!

hey, are you guys glad that elliot spitzer has up staged larry craig with his latest political sex scandal, or what? i bet larry craig is relieved. sorry if you think i am being disrespectful of larry craig. i know he has been a good senator for idaho. i mean, i know it since you explained it to me. still, i bet in some way he feels relieved to have someone else in the limelight. hope you guys are all having a good time. love liz
