Fortunately our Semi truck was fully loaded which adds to the fun

We had a blizzard yesterday and Zack was out of school yet another day
All these Pictures were taken today which shows that our snow depth hasn't decreased much since our high in mid February. The pipe on this wheel line sits at a little over 3 feet.

So is that your semi? And why is it fortunate that it was full or are you just being sarcastic.
Yes, that is our semi. Alan really likes that obscenity-laden tv show ice truckers, and now he knows what it is like to slide off the road in a semi. I hope he didn't swear like a trucker. He was coming from the Clark place (Squirrel, clear up by Harshbargers)when he was distracted and he took his eye off the road and slowly veered off the road. He says he was going about 30mph. Even so, too much momentum in the wrong direction and lots of soft snow sucked the truck off the road. His sarcasm was real. He spent yesterday transloading all the grain from the semi to ten-wheelers. Not a fun job. And the truck is still stuck despite pulling with two tractors. The snow froze hard and it's not letting go of the tires. Alan gave it a good try, but he's either going to have to wait til a spring thaw or hire a professional tow truck. This weather is so bad. Even now, its 4 am and I can't sleep because the wind is howling outside and I can't sleep because of the noise. I have to get to town in about six hours for the jr miss program today and I'm not sure if I'll be stranded out here on the farm or what. This is the craziest latest winter storms I can remember. I hope it settles down soon or I'm going to be bucking some snowdrifts into town. That can be a little scary. CRAZY!!
I can't believe that! If you wait for it to thaw won't it tip over more? just wondering. It sounds like a really dirty job unloading the grain. That had to have been scary and very frustrating. so did dad call someone to come pick him up or what? Sorry it is so crazy!
If you wait for the snow to thaw then won't the truck fall over on it's side?
