Here Comes the Sun!

This morning just about when Alan got up (just after 5:00 am), he looked outside and saw a beautiful sunrise. He quickly grabbed the camera and took about 15 shots. These are four of them. the view is toward the east, northeast looking up toward the Yellowstone area. Those blue mountains at the left are in Yellowstone.

This was the first picture he took.

He sped up the shutter speed and let in less light on this one. This one was taken with a slower shutter speed. You can see the color of the fields in this picture.
This one was adjusted once he got it on the computer. The blue sky really shows up, but he said it was still much more red and the rays were much better in real life.
Just thought you would like to see some pretty pictures.

Beautiful! Too bad you have to get up at 5:00 to see it.

Beautiful pictures!!! I have been up to see the sunrise more than I should for summer...but it is nice to see it. I would get some pictures but Pocatello doesn't exactly set a good scene (powerlines, ugly buildings, etc.)

I really like those pictures and I like the tutorial on shutter speed and light. We just got back from Bear Lake. I will have to post some videos of the trip. It was a blast I really enjoyed myself. We are looking forward to more fun festivities. I also enjoyed the pictures of zack. He has changed but not really all that much. Isn't that funny about Miranda's blog! Well at least SHE gets to see MY cousins... Oh well... I talked to Zack on his birthday and Zack told me he was coming to southern Utah. Isn't he? Just wondering I really want to see him. Well I'll see you later (wink, wink)
