Friday afternoon Zack opened his mission call. He is going to the Uruguay, Montevideo Mission. We are so happy for him, and he is beyond the moon. We have googled Uruguay and have found that it is very like Argentina where I served. Heavily influenced by the Europeans, especially the Italians. He will enter the the Argentina MTC on September 3, 2009. This is such a wonderful blessing. He has been preparing for this for a long time. He was so excited and nervous at the same time, that at first he didn't want to look to see where he was being sent. I started to cry from happiness and relief, because I know the people in that area of the world and they are wonderful people and Zack will love them. He is so blessed to be able to serve among them. We are truly grateful for this special blessing.

He will be a very strong missionary. He has so many good examples that you all have set for him. I am thankful for all his good uncles, aunts, cousins, friends, and teachers that have taught and guided him. Now for the other "stuff." These are just some fun pictures from the easter weekend.

Pictures of the little girls.
Picture of the big girls.
Leah in her "cupcake"dress.
The Wii game and all its zoned out followers.
Easter Lilu at the Primary Children's NICU. She looked a lot worse than she was.
Jonas at the "hunt".
Me holding Lily for the first time. Alan was so patient. He had to wait in the room down the hall. I kept going down and giving him news updates on the progress of the birth. He was so sleepy. But when she was born, he could hear her screaming all the way down the hall to where he was waiting.
Pink stick-on earrings, necklace, pants, top, toy.
Marens name should be "pinkie"

These are some plants that I bought that I can't put out, because it is too cold and wet. So they are patiently waiting the transplant in the sunroom. They are soooo patient.

I took this at about 7:00 p.m. They are just starting to work the 40 acres kitty-corner from our house.
This is the ditch in front of our house. That's right. No more running water sounds to lull me asleep in the summer. I was really sad about this, but that's progress for you. So we filled in the ditch and Alan wants to plant grass. I'm thinking there's got to be something more creative we can do. Don't I have enough grass to mow?

So excited or Zack. I agree the Easter pictures were great. The yard looks like it is coming along. Talk with you again soon.
Good job Zack, we can't wait to come up for your talk in church! I am having a little yard envy and You don't even have much growing yet. Thanks for the great pics of the kids.
I am so happy for Zack, for some reason it just made sense for him to be going there. I am so anxious to hear how he gets a long there and the stories of being a missionary. He will be great. I love the easter pictures of the girls and Jonas. THat picture of Lily brings back bad memories but I agree she looks worse than she was. She's such an angel. Your yard looks great and I am sad about the ditch too but not too sad because I know a certain little missy would be too curious to keep her hands out of it. Well can't wait to see you in a couple of weeks. Happy Mother's Day tomorrow!
We're so excited for Zack. I can't wait to tell Whitney tomorrow.
Congratulations Zack!!!! What a great place!
WAHOO Zack!! That is very exciting. You'll have to compare notes with Craig when you get home. I'm sure it will be a similar experience and you'll love it! Congrats!!
Congratulations Zack! I just wanted to tell you that one of my mom's aides is from Uruguay! She speaks Italian as well as Spanish and English. If you come down this summer, I'll introduce you to her. She would love to tell you about her country.
